| Exemption Policy As
a general rule, exemptions are granted only where a qualification has been obtained in
full.
Exemptions on subject for subject basis are not considered for exemptions except under
special circumstances.
A candidate who has completed only a few parts of an academic or professional
examination may be considered for exemptions on a case by case basis.
Once a student applies for an examination, a second application for exemptions will not
be entertained unless he / she obtains further qualifications, subsequently.
Exemptions will not be granted for subjects, a student has unsuccessfully attempted at
CMA examinations.

Application for Exemptions |
Candidates who wish to obtain exemptions must submit a written request,
namely a "Letter of Request for Exemptions", to the secretariat
indicating the National Identity Card number and enclosing certified photocopies of the
relevant results sheets / certificates. These documents and the "Letter of Request
for Exemptions" may be submitted along with the "Application for Student
Registration" or separately.
The "Letter of Request For Exemptions" may be submitted even before the
"Application For Student Registration" is submitted, with the relevant
documents.
All "Letter of Request For Exemptions" should be submitted
before 15th June pertaining to the September
Examination, and
before 15th December pertaining to the March
Examination of the following year.
Top left hand corner of the envelope containing letter of request for exemptions should
contain the words "Letter of Request For Exemptions"
The Secretariat will send a form of "Application for Exemption"
to the eligible Registered Students.
The completed "Application For Exemptions" should be submitted to the
Secretariat by such Registered Students.
before 15th January pertaining to the March
Examination, and
before 15th July pertaining to the September
Examination.
The "Applications For Exemptions" should be submitted
together with the following documents"
Student's copy of the Special Payment Voucher for the Exemption
Fee, endorsed by an Authorized Officer of any specified branch of the People's Bank.
The Duplicate Paying-in-slip.
