The following 20 scholarships are available to registered students.

• Hon. Prof. G L Peiris Scholarships for Undergraduates:
  Most outstanding undergraduates of recognized universities in Sri Lanka selected on academic qualifications, special achievements and final interview.

• Hon. Kingsley T Wickremaratne Scholarships for Public/Private Sector Employees:
  Most outstanding applicants selected from public/private sector employees in sectors recognized for practical training, based on academic qualifications, experience & position held, special achievements & final interview.

• The Canadian High Commission Scholarships for School Leavers:
  Most outstanding students selected on G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination results, special achievements and interview.

• Scholarships for Police and Armed Service:
  Most outstanding applicants selected out of the employees of Police Department and Armed service on academic qualifications, experience & position held, special achievements and final interview.

All selections will be done by a committee appointed by the Governing Council and the decision of the selection committee after approval by the Governing Council will be final.   The number of scholarships granted will depend on the eligible applicants meeting the required criteria laid down by the Governing Council.

The scholarship will include the following:

• Registration fee and annual subscription for a period of 3 years.
  
  
• Study Packs for all stages.
  
  
• Lecture fee for each stage at first attempt.
  
  
• Examination fees at first attempt.
  
  
• Assistance to find a firm for practical training.

Those who wish to apply for a scholarship under any of the above schemes, should first register as a student and complete the scholarship application form obtainable from the Executive Director, Society of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka, No.  1, Bethesda Place, Off Dickman' s Road, Colombo 05 and submit same on or before the specified closing date.
