A candidate without credit passes in English Language and Mathematics at the G C E O/L Examination is allowed to register as a "Provisional Student".  Such a Provisional Student should fulfil the Entry requirements in not more than two sittings, within a period of one year, as detailed below.

By obtaining passes in "Business communication" and "Business Mathematics" at the Technician Stage.

Such a Provisional Student after passing these subjects is entitled to convert to full Student status.  A student who fulfils entry requirements under this provision may sit for the other three/four papers in Technician Stage and thus complete this Stage.
